Manzanares Joins Women's Hoop Staff

Oklahoma Baptist University picked up its second former New Mexico Highlands head basketball coach recently, adding Ed Manzanares to the staff as assistant women's basketball coach.
Manzanares, who coached the NMHU men after current head Lady Bison coach John McCullough left that post, succeeds Johnny Vick, who resigned this summer.
Manzanares coached NMHU for five seasons after serving as McCullough's assistant for four years.
He also coached three years on the high school level at Albuquerque's St. Pius X High School.
He received his bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico in 1995 and is pursuing is master's degree in sports administration from NMHU.
He and his wife, Lena, have two children.
