OBU to Host Athletic Training Seminar

Scott Anderson, head athletic trainer at the University of Oklahoma, will be the keynote speaker at the fourth annual Bison Athletic Training Seminar at Oklahoma Baptist University June 3.
The seminar is open to junior high or high school athletic training students and coaches who have the desire to learn taping techniques.
Instructors at the seminar include OBU head athletic trainer Richard Bobier; Randy Aldret, athletic trainer at Cascia Hall; Dennis Thompson, owner/director of Sports Medicine Excel Therapy in Ardmore; and Jim Mansfield, head athletic trainer at Holland Hall.
Anderson has been with the University of Oklahoma since 1980 and has served as chairman of the Big XII Committee of Medical Aspects of Sports Medicine.
The seminar, which begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., will include the topics of supplements, injury management, taping and flexibility lab.
Camp fee is $30 before May 27 or $35 after May 27. The fee includes the seminar, t-shirt and lunch.
