Oklahoma Baptist lost its third straight to Southern Nazarene before taking out its frustrations with a 12-2 win Saturday in Bethany
Southern Nazarene recorded its third win with relievers Clay Collier getting the win and Ryan Andrews getting the save for the third straight time.
OBU had 11 hits but lost the opener 11-9 with Danny Guidry picking up three hits and five RBI. Guidry and Nick Bakich had home runs in the game. Aaron Dickson had two hits.
Tabor Woolard suffered the loss for OBU.
OBU didn't score in the first inning of the second game, but posted runs in every other inning, including a five-spot in the second. Bakich clouted his second home run of the day.
Kip Keith had four hits, Frankie Ibarra had three hits and three RBI, and Aaron Dickson, Bakich and Guidry had two hits each for the Bison.
OBU will play at Northwood Tuesday before the Bison return home and get back to Sooner Athletic Conference action Thursday against USAO.
