Bison in Seventh at Regional

Oklahoma Baptist University's Bison golf team is running in the middle of the pack at the NAIA Region VI Golf Championships at Quail Creek in Oklahoma City.
OBU is in a three-way tie for seventh in the 13-team regional after shooting 319 and 310 on the first day.
Josh Bryan and Jason Carpenter, currently tied at 22nd in the individual standings, led OBU in the first day. Bryan shot a 76 and an 80 for 156 with Carpenter getting that score with an 82 and a 74.
Mark Richards has been consistent with a 79 and a 78 for 157. Russell Kern is at 160 (82-78) and Marc Johnson shot an 84 and an 85 for 169.
The tournament concludes Tuesday.
