Peguero Lands SAC, Region Honor

Felix Peguero of Oklahoma Baptist University has been named Sooner Athletic Conference and NAIA Region VI Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week for March 21-27.

Peguero, a senior outfielder from Riverdale, Md., batted .500 for the week with three home runs, 11 RBI and seven runs scored. He averaged 4.2 runs scored or driven in per game in the four-game week for the Bison, which included a 12-2 win at No. 6 Oklahoma City.

He also clouted a sixth-inning grand slam with OBU trailing Hastings 8-5, leading the Bison to the 9-8 win.
