Ryan Claims Initial Baseball Honor

Chris Ryan of Oklahoma Baptist University was named Sooner Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors for. Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

Ryan, a junior from Spring, Texas, tossed four innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts in a 3-1 win over No. 30 Dakota Wesleyan. He picked up the win in the second game of the Bison's opening day doubleheader on Saturday - his first start for OBU.
