OBU Women Drop Two at Wichita State

The OBU women's tennis team dropped two matches at Wichita State, 7-0 and 6-0, Feb. 11.

Ashley Jerige had the most successful outing in the 7-0 loss, losing 6-2, 6-0 in No. 4 singles. Kerri McNutt at No. 1, Lauren White and No. 2 and Christa Tjeerdsma at No. 5 all won one game in their matches.

White and McNutt lost in No. 1 doubles, 8-1 and Kimberly Daniel and Haley Howard lost in No. 3 doubles, 8-2.

In the 6-0 loss, Daniel lost 6-3, 6-0 in No. 3 singles, Jerige went down in a pair of 6-1 sets and McNutt and Tjeerdsma managed one game each.

OBU, now 0-6 on the season, will host Abilene Christian Tuesday, Feb. 15, at OBU.
