OBU Softball Opener Changed to Single Game
February 15, 2005
Oklahoma Baptist University will open its softball season at Oklahoma State University Thursday evening at 5 p.m.
The contest was originally scheduled as a doubleheader but has been changed to a single game due to expected cold temperatures (low 40s) Thursday night.
Oklahoma State is 6-4 on the season and currently on a three-game win streak that includes a 17-8 victory over Oklahoma City University.
OBU is coming off a 9-35 campaign that followed successive NAIA Tournament seasons.
Andrea Zahara is expected to start in the circle for OBU.
