Bison Drop Abilene Finale, 12-2

Oklahoma Baptist University's baseball team skidded out of Abilene, Texas, Monday with a 12-2 loss at the hands of Hardin-Simmons University.

OBU scored twice in the top of the seventh on back-to-back sacrifice flies by Frank Ibarra and Felix Peguero.

The Cowboys ended the game with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Tabor Woolard (1-1) took the loss for the Bison, who dip to 4-2 on the season.

The Bison managed just three hits off three HSU pitchers with Danny Guidry getting a double while Kip Keith and Ibarra had singles.

The Bison host Avila Saturday.
