Oklahoma Baptist's Bison got a needed conference victory over USAO, 81-56, and looked sharp doing so Thursday night.
Against a team that took front-running Oklahoma Christian to overtime, the Bison used a 52-point second half to torch the Drovers and blew open a five-point game.
OBU shot 64 percent from the field in the second half, including 7-for-10 from three-point range while limiting USAO to 28 percent shooting for the night.
The Bison got 29 points from the bench with Justin Benson leading that effort with 15 points.
Robert Hart led OBU with 17 points, followed by Benson, Andrew Bryant with 14 points and 11 from Leonard Mosley. Bryant and Benson had a team-high eight rebounds each. Mosley had seven assists.
The Bison improve to 3-5 in the SAC and 15-6 overall, heading into a home game Saturday with Northwestern.
