OBU Women Dominate Athletes First

After falling behind 6-0, the OBU women rallied for an 82-54 win over Athletes First in an exhibition game Friday night.
OBU led 36-24 at the half and led by as many as 30 points in the second half.
Rachel Heins led the OBU effort with 21 points with Kelli Welborn adding 17, followed by Tabetha Eaton with 12 and Sheneka Holder with 10. Holder also had eight rebounds and five assists.
Jadrea Prater led Athletes First with 15 points, followed by Misty Overstreet with 12 and Rozelyn Ross with 11. Casi Bays had eight points and Kristi Turley had 4.
The game does not count in the statistics or standings.
OBU, 9-0, will play Savannah College of Art & Design at 3 p.m. Saturday. SCAD lost in the second game of the Pizza Hut Classic Friday night, 115-50 to Oklahoma City University.
