OBU Inks Tuttle's Glasser
December 1, 2004
Tuttle High School standout Danielle Glasser has signed scholarship agreements to play softball at Oklahoma Baptist University in the 2005-06 season.
"We're glad to have Danielle coming to OBU," said Bison softball coach Pam Fink. "She's a great fit for the program and the university. She comes from a strong program and I think she's going to help us get to where we want to go as a team."
Glasser, an infielder, was a 2004 All-State selection and MVP of the Sooner Conference. In 2003, she was First-Team All-City and Sooner Conference Newcomer of the Year. Glasser was the THS Gold Glove Award winner in 2003 and 2004.
The daughter of Rick and Jennifer Glasser, Danielle also is a member of the Oklahoma and National Honor Societies and is on the Superintendent's Honor Roll.
She said she chose OBU because of the good softball program and the opportunity for a good education.
