Bison Dismiss Mid-America, 92-62

OBU's ninth-ranked Bison made short work of Mid-America Christian Tuesday, whipping the Evangels 92-62.

The OBU men jumped the Evangels early and had a 20-5 lead at the 12:21 mark. Frank Benson went on a personal 8-0 run with three assists from Evan Grace and another from Robert Hart to give OBU a 31-9 lead at the 8:02 mark. A 5-0 run would put OBU ahead 36-12 at the 5:25 mark of the half.

From there to the intermission, however, Mid-America outscored the Bison 13-2 and closed the gap to 38-25.

Leonard Mosley scored four points in a half-opening 7-0 run for a 45-25 Bison lead and Mosley and Benson led OBU on an 11-2 run for a 60-33 advantage at the 13:48 mark.

OBU, which emptied its bench in the game, led by as many as 30 three different times with the junior varsity on the floor.

Benson led the Bison with 23 points on 10-of-11 shooting with Mosley chipping in 16.
