Benson Named Player of the Week

Frank Benson was named Sooner Athletic Conference Basketball Players of the Week for Dec. 5-11.

Benson, a 6-5 junior forward from Houston, Texas, shot 77 percent from the field and led OBU to a 2-0 week, averaging 21.5 points and two steals. He was 10-for-11 and had 23 points in a 92-62 win over Mid-America Christian and scored 20 points in a 105-76 win over Dallas Christian.
