OBU Women Crush Southwestern Assemblies

Oklahoma Baptist's women's basketball team coasted to 2-0 with an 83-38 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God University Saturday in the conclusion of the Chili's Classic.
Priscila Alves led the team with 15 points on 70 percent shooting, with seven assists and nine steals. Kelli Welborn had her second consecutive double-digit game from off the bench, adding a dozen points.
Every Lady Bison that got in the game put points on the board. Keely Tolin was held out with an injury.
The Lady Bison got off to a 13-0 lead and took a 42-11 advantage into halftime.
OBU returns to action with an exhibition game Saturday against Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 1:30 p.m.
