Bison Riddle Ozarks 86-52

Oklahoma Baptist University's women's basketball team dominated University of the Ozarks 86-52 Friday night in the opening day of the Golden Eagle Classic at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark.

OBU's bench strength again came into play as reserve forward Rachel Heins led the Lady Bison with a career-high 24 points to lead a 39-13 bench advantage.

On their way to a 5-0 mark, the Lady Bison got 19 points from Layla Schwarz and a dozen each from guards Priscila Alves and Tabetha Eaton. Eaton also had 10 rebounds.

OBU also dominated on the boards, out-rebounding the Eagles 51-31.

The Lady Bison will play College of the Ozarks (Mo.) Saturday at 1 p.m.
