Oklahoma Baptist bounced back from a season-opening loss, flexing its muscle with a 112-58 massacre of Manhattan Christian College in men's basketball action Saturday night.
Seven Bison reached double figures in scoring, led by Mike Fraser who hit all eight of his field goals and his lone free throw attempt for 17 points, coming off the bench.
After a 29 percent shooting night Friday, OBU bounced back to hit 63.8 percent on Saturday. Frank Benson also came off the bench and hit all but one of his seven attempts from the field to finish with 15 points. Leonard Mosley and Andrew Bryant both had 14 points on a combined 12-15 night from the field.
Tyler Ryan, Robert Hart and Bailey Jones had 10 points each with Jones hitting all three of his attempts in his first start, on his way to a career scoring high.
OBU had 34 assists, led by Hart with eight and Ryan with seven, while Bryant snagged 10 rebounds.
The Bison never trailed and were never challenged. The OBU bench outscored the Crusader reserves 60-4.
Ryan Kuntz and Steve Juhl led Manhattan Christian with 22 and 21 points, respectively.
The Bison return to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Southwestern Christian University.
