Jupin Signs With OBU

Washington High School senior Jennifer Jupin signed scholarship agreements recently to play basketball at Oklahoma Baptist University, beginning the 2005-06 season.

The 5-9 guard was First-Team All-State as a junior, as well as First-Team Little All-City last season in basketball after being a second-team selection as a sophomore and a third-team pick as a freshman. She also earned Little All-City honors in softball.

She has a career scoring average of 16 points per game and last season was MVP of the OBU Tournament and Bethel's CD Warehouse Tournament. Jupin is two-time MVP of the BCI Nationals as a member of the two-time national BCI Champion Air Oklahoma Stars, coached by OBU assistant Johnny Vick.
