Rolette Joins Bison Baseball Team

Asher High School pitcher Ryan Rolette signed a scholarship agreement Thursday to play baseball at Oklahoma Baptist University for the 2004-05 academic year.

Rolette, the son of David and Heidi Rolette, was a Pott County All-Star in baseball. He also was listed in Who's Who Among American High School Athletes. He was his Senior Class Treasurer.

"I chose OBU to play baseball and to receive a great education," Rolette said. "And I'll also further my walk with the Lord at a Christian school."

The Bison baseball team was runner-up at the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament last season.
