Dale, Steele Earn Honorable Mention Recognition

Oklahoma Baptist University baseball players Brandon Dale and Jeff Steele were named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention, it was announced Saturday, June 5.
Dale, a senior outfielder from Perth, Australia, clouted a team-high 15 home runs, just one shy of the school record, and had a .705 slugging percentage. He started all 61 games for the Bison, batting .360.
Steele, a senior pitcher from Powell River, B.C., was 10-1 on the season with a team-best 3.14 earned run average. He started 15 games, with six complete games and one shut-out. He had 84 strikeouts and 16 walks this season.
The Bison finished second in the SAC Tournament and third at Region VI Tournament, finishing the season at 36-25.
