OBU Nursing Graduates Receive Pins

Twenty-three graduating seniors in Oklahoma Baptist University's School of Nursing received their traditional pins Friday, May, 21, in Raley Chapel.
Dr. Sheila Myers, a 1959 OBU graduate, delivered the address in which she gave the new nurses words of wisdom and advice.
Those receiving the pin, which is a cross surrounded by the words "Oklahoma Baptist University Nursing," were Keri Atkinson of Harrah; Katherine Bell of Halstead, Kan.; Sandra Burnock of Seekonk, Mass.; Tasha Carter of Columbia, Tenn.; Amanda Connelly of Tulsa; Megan Cook of Broken Arrow; Kelly Davis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Amy Dieckman of Lee's Summit, Mo.; Jennifer Estoll of Arlington, Texas; Erin Funk, Kari Wiese and Daree Willman of Shawnee; Elizabeth Garrett of Oklahoma City; Lauren Guyer of Edmond; Kathryn Jones of Meeker; Megan Leach of Rexford, Kan.; Haley Levin of Hays, Kan.; Jessica Martin of Prague; Amanda Procter of Gordon, Texas; Kayla Redelsperger of Duncan; Stacie Richards of Lindsey; and Mariah Stone of Allen, Texas.
