Ribbon Cutting for New Student Center, December 8 at 10am
December 5, 2003
On December 8, at 10am, the new OBU student center will officially open with a ribbon cutting ceremony. There is much anticipation from the student body for this redesigned space.
Although Aramark has scheduled a grand opening at the start of the spring semester, OBU administration wanted to make sure to have the facility available for the students at least during exam week.
The student center has several points of interest including Java City with coffee of all kinds, a smoothie counter, a convenience store where students can purchase anything from frozen foods, grocery items, and other items.
In addition the student center has three eating options: Bene Pizzeria, Montague's Deli and Grille Works. All but Grille Works will be open on Monday.
Students can enjoy the carpeted lounge area this Friday evening and all weekend. Java City and the convenience store are scheduled to open at 7am on Monday.
We invite you to join us at the official ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, December 8, at 10am.
