November 9, 2002
Oklahoma Baptist University's 2002 Harvest Queen and King and their Court were named from a group of 18 seniors Saturday evening at the annual Alumni Showcase and Harvest Festival.
Leslie Garrison, an exercise science major from Anderson, Mo., was crowned Harvest Queen. Michael Burns, a Bible major from Oklahoma City, was crowned Harvest King.
Also selected for the Harvest Court was Best All-Around Woman Angie Burton, a marketing major from Tulsa, and Best All-Around Man Nathan Funk, a Bible major from Clinton.
Lauren Wood, a telecommunication major from Houston, Texas, was named Most Servant-Like Woman and Justin Dunn, a biblical languages major from Park Hills, Mo., was named Most Servant-Like Man.
The Harvest Court members are selected by the OBU student body. An initial student vote determines the three finalists in each category and a final student vote again to elect the winners.
