Steve Largent Visits OBU Young Republicans

Oklahoma Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Largent dialogued with Oklahoma Baptist University's Young Republican student group Wednesday in the university's Yarborough Auditorium about why voter turnout is lowest in their age group. 

Largent has visited several universities in Oklahoma this month, speaking with students about the significance of exercising their right to vote.

"One thing I can assure you with absolute certainty is that 50 years from now, there will still be government," Largent said. "There's an unwillingness for people your age to get involved in something that doesn't change right now. But this election affects your future more than it does mine."
