The OBU holiday float, created by the members of OBU's Physical Plant staff, won first place in the non-corporate division in the annual Shawnee Downtown Christmas parade Dec. 6. The Shawnee parade is the largest nighttime parade in Oklahoma.
The float depicts a post office at the North Pole and Santa Claus and his sleigh taking flight.
Last year, OBU's physical plant staff took home a grand prize trophy for their float "A Bison Christmas." The float won top honors for "Best Use of Lights" in thatl parade.
