Oklahoma Baptist University's 2001 Harvest Queen and King and their Court were named from a group of 18 senior candidates Saturday evening, Nov. 10, at the annual Alumni Showcase and Harvest Festival.
Sky Chaddick, a piano major from Amarillo, Texas, was crowned Harvest Queen and Blake Connelly, a biblical languages and English major from Tulsa, was crowned Harvest King.
Also selected for the Harvest Court was Best All-Around Woman Jill Westberry, a recreation administration major from Moore, and Best All-Around Man Ryan Payne, an interdisciplinary major from Broken Arrow.
Whitney Howell, a nursing major from Fritch, Texas, was named Most Popular Woman and Justin Elliott, a marketing major from Albuquerque, N.M., was named Most Popular Man.
The Harvest Court members are selected by the OBU student body. An initial student vote determines the three finalists in each category and then students vote again to elect the winners.
