Oratorio Attracts Large Crowd

Oklahoma Baptist University student Lloyd Holt sings the tenor solo in Giacomo Puccini's "Messa di Gloria" for a near capacity crowd during the university's Oratorio recently. The event was in the university's Potter Auditorium in Raley Chapel.
Performers included OBU's major choral and instrumental ensembles, music majors, music faculty. It was directed by Dr. Timothy Stalter from the University of Iowa.
Other soloists were OBU students, baritone Conor Scholes and bass Christopher Campbell. Kenneth Whitmore, son of OBU staff accompanist Keith Whitmore, sang the boy soprano solo in Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms.
