Nationally Recognized Relationship Experts to Speak at Chapel

Relationship experts Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot will be the Oklahoma Baptist University chapel speakers Wednesday, March 28. The service will be in the university's Raley Chapel at 10 a.m.
The couple, founders and co-directors of the Center for Relationship Development at Seattle Pacific University, are visiting Oklahoma as marriage ambassadors to Governor Frank Keating and as scholars in residence at Oklahoma State University.
The Parrotts' goal through the Center for Relationship Development and through their speaking engagements across the nation is to teach the basics of good relationships and what makes relationships last.
The Parrotts deal with all types of relationships such as marriage, family, friends, dating, engagement and the workplace. They have co-authored numerous books including Becoming Soul Mates, Like a Kiss on the Lips, and Getting Ready for the Wedding. Articles by the Parrotts have appeared in Redbook, Men's Health, Family Circle, Woman's Day and Brides.
They have been featured on "Oprah," "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw," "CBS This Morning," "The View," and CNN.
At Seattle Pacific University, Dr. Les Parrott is professor of clinical psychology and Dr. Leslie Parrott is the resident marriage and family therapist.
