Oklahoma Baptist University has named Jayme Robinson as new residence director of WMU Dormitory. Tina Sims has been named residence director at Taylor Residence Center and West University Apartments after serving in that same post at WMU Dormitory for 16 months.
Robinson, a 1998 OBU graduate, has worked as hotel coordinator for Women of Faith Ministry in Plano, Texas, since 1999.
An English major at OBU, Robinson also worked in intern positions at Liberty Church in Broken Arrow, First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas, and First Baptist Church in Durant.
"We are excited to have Jayme join our team," said Monica Mullins, OBU assistant dean of students. "She will bring a fresh perspective, along with valuable experience from her work at Women of Faith and First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls."
Sims had been residence director of WMU Dormitory since August of 1999. Before that she worked as an assistant director of admissions at Southwest Baptist University.
"Tina has emerged as a strong leader on our staff," said Mullins. "We are pleased to see her take on this new role, and anticipate great things from her in the year to come."
Sims graduated from OBU in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree in family psychology.
