Businessmen to Address Christianity and Business

The Oklahoma Baptist University chapter of the national business honor society Delta Mu Delta will sponsor a forum on impacting the world for Christ through business, Monday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. in the university's Tulsa Royalties Auditorium.
Kent Humphreys and Jeremie Kubicek will be the guest speakers.
Humphreys is founder and CEO of American Health Diagnostics, a medical test kit distributor. Formerly he was owner and CEO of Jacks Merchandising and Distribution in Oklahoma City. In 1997, Humphreys sold Jacks to BMK, Inc., and the company quickly became the largest general merchandise supplier in the United States. Humphreys remained CEO until June 2000.
Kubicek, who graduated from Shawnee High School in 1989 and OBU in 1993, was hired by Humphreys in 1995 as a regional sales manager at Jacks and in 1998 was promoted to vice president of marketing. Kubicek is currently responsible for business development in a $75 million division of BMK
He was a founding member of the OBU Global Options program in Moscow, Russia. He spent two years there starting a consulting group that specialized in accounting, training, and marketing for American and international firms already in operation.
