Remote Work Disclosure
Positions specifically designated as Remote Eligible may be performed from one of the approved states listed below. All other positions are performed on the OBU campus in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Remote work is limited to candidates who are legally residing in, and will perform the duties of the position while physically located in, one of the approved states.
Employees hired into a Remote Eligible position must perform all work from their approved state of residence, which is designated as their primary work location. Work may not be performed from another country, state, jurisdiction, or other location, except when travel outside the approved primary work location is specifically required as part of the employee’s job duties. This includes required travel to the University campus.
These requirements are intended to support compliance with applicable state and local income tax requirements, employment laws, and other legal requirements associated with an employee’s physical work location.
