Plans are now underway for the 10th annual OBU Green and Gold Gala set for Tuesday, April 1, 2025  at 7:00pm on Bison Hill. Join us for an unforgettable and festive evening of inspiration, connection, celebration and more! 

This year's Gala will be held "On the Hill" in order to showcase our campus and to unveil how our university is forging forward after the devastating tornado from April 19, 2023 which caused damage to every major building. We are excited for you to join us and catch the spirit of renewal and discover how we are reaching new heights through our Shape the Future Campaign.

OBU’s Green and Gold Gala is a biennial event that brings together university supporters, alumni, faculty, staff and community leaders for a rewarding evening of philanthropy. The purpose of the Gala is to raise crucial funds in support of our university's mission and primarily scholarships for students. 

In order for students to gain the life-changing experiences offered through OBU's world-class education, scholarships play a key role in attracting and retaining students in their college journey. The generosity shown from this event promotes OBU’s mission to equip Future Shapers to live all of life, all for Jesus.

By attending, you will enjoy the company of friends of the university and hear testimonies from students on the impact OBU is making in their lives. You'll even have the opportunity to take a "behind the scenes" tour of historic buildings that are now being renovated as part of our campaign initiatives.  This is a unique and memorable time on campus and we encourage you to take advantage of this special opportunity as you see the current progress of our new modern classrooms and labs, collaborative spaces, and  the development of  our innovative academic programs that are emerging in these revitalized buildings.

A feature highlight of the evening is our keynote speaker, John C. Maxwell, #1 New York Times bestselling author, world-renowned speaker, leadership expert and founder of Maxwell Leadership.
